We usually treat the Bible like a salad bar: “I’ll take this...I’ll take that; not that...”

Seminaries do not teach pastors how the whole Bible fits together. 

The OT is increasingly being neglected among theologians and pastors — which means Christians are missing 75% of how their Bible informs the person and work of Jesus. 

Churches need encouragement and equipping in their identity, mission, and destiny — based upon the whole Bible. 

People struggle with the problem of evil and suffering; the whole Bible answers and equips us to overcome.

The Bible reveals a big God: we all need a greater glimpse of His glorious sovereign majesty.

Pastor Mark holds a Ph.D. in Biblical Studies and a D.Min. in Expository Preaching — both from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Kansas City, MO. While previously serving in associate church staff positions, he has been a lead pastor since 2003 - he knows and has experienced the good, the bad, the ugly, and the beautiful of local church ministry. He has helped train hundreds of pastors in Kenya, Uganda, southeast Asia, and a communist country. He has also conducted mission trips and doctoral studies while traveling to Israel, Belize, Rome, Luxembourg, and Germany.

He and his wife Monica have four adult sons.  

The Bible’s unified message concerning Jesus, the Son of God, is more supernatural, mysterious, and breathtaking than we were first taught, whether through the local church or in Christian higher education. 

The purpose is to show how the whole Bible fits together as one unified story to increase our love for God (worship) and our loyalty to His purposes (mission of the Church; His ultimate glory). 

The Big Bible Conference is unique among other Bible conferences, revival gatherings, and missionary training events. 

Pastor Mark will demonstrate how Genesis 1-11, with its emphasis on the supernatural sons of God, forms the backdrop for the rest of the Bible – God’s great salvation story. 

Our purpose is to enhance the Church’s understanding of the Gospel of Jesus in light of the whole Bible, with a view to increase better preaching, worship, discipleship, and evangelism in the local church, institutions of Christian higher education, and mission organizations.

Pastor Mark is a veteran lead pastor committed to his own local church. Therefore, he can only miss a few Sunday mornings in a year. However, he wants to come alongside and strengthen God's people, and can accommodate a variety of speaking formats to fit your need, including Saturdays, Sunday nights, and weekdays/nights.
